The Ist period Teaching aims 1. 學(xué)會預(yù)訂食物; 2. 學(xué)會詢問有關(guān)飲食方面的; 3. 學(xué)會有關(guān)飲食方面的詞匯及相關(guān)用語。 Language points 1. 掌握并學(xué)會運用下列單詞: noodles,beef, mutton, chicken, cabbages, potatoes, tomatoes, special. 2. 掌握并學(xué)會運用下列詞組: would like, beef and tomato noodles. 3. 理解、掌握下列日常交際用語,并能在情景中進(jìn)行交流運用: (1) I’d like some noodles. (2) – What kind of noodles would you like? --Beef and tomato noodles, please. Difficulties(難點):掌握運用有關(guān)飲食的名詞的可數(shù)和不可數(shù)。 Teaching steps Step 1 Warming up 1. Greet each other; 2. Talk about wahat their favorite food is. - What’s your favorite food? - My favorite food is…. - What do you have for breakfast / lunch / dinner ? - I have … for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Step 2 Lead in Show three different sized of bowls of noodles to the students and ask. How many students like noodles. Look at the pictures again. Ask a student who likes noodles. What size bowl of noodles would you like, small, medium or large? Help students to answer. I’d like a (small) bowl of noodles. Ask more students. Step 3 Presentation Say we are in a restaurant and I want to eat a bowl of noodles. T: Hello, I’d like a bowl of noodles. S1: What size bowl of noodles would you like? T: I’d like a medium bowl of noodles and I’d like meat and tomao noodles, please. Step 4 Work on 1a 1) Point to three specials. Learn the words: noodles, beef, mutton, chicken, cabbage, potatoes and tomatoes. Match the wods with the foods. See who can do it quickly and correctly. Check the answers (1. c 2. a 3.g 4. d 5. e 6. f 7. b ) Then read the words loudly. Step 5 Work on 1b Point to the three bowls of noodles one by one and ask students what ingredients are in these noodles. Then ask students to listen to the tape and check (√ )the noodles that the person orders. Check the answer. ( Special 1) Step 6 Work on 1 c Pratice the conversation T: Hello, I’d like some noodles. S1: What kind of noodles would you like? T: Beef and tomato noodles, please. Have students take turns being the waiter and the person ordering the noodles. Students practice both roles. Step 7 Make a survey Discuss in small groups of four. Ask students what kind of noodles he or she likes best. Fill in the chart. Names What kind of noodles does he / she like? 1 2 3 4 Practice like this: S1: What kind of noodles would he / she like? S2: He’d / She’d like…. Step 8 Homework 1. Copy the new words in this unit. 2.
